One-storey house on the water
This concept is part of a retreat complex and is designed as a standalone one-storey residence that seems to grow naturally from the lakeside landscape. Its architecture blends strict minimalism with delicate ethnic accents expressed through textures, details, and art objects.
A monochromatic palette, natural materials, sculptural shapes, and ambient lighting create a deep, almost meditative atmosphere. The space opens toward the surrounding views while maintaining a sense of intimacy and quiet — an ideal balance for rest, reflection, and connection with nature.
Bathroom area
This space is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional plunge bath — a secluded place for ritual purification, immersion, and silence. At its center stands a monolithic round bathtub set against a backdrop of translucent glass block walls.
The walls are clad in dark, glossy tiles that beautifully reflect both light and water. Diffused lighting and rounded forms soften the graphic nature of the space, while the recessed shower with backlighting completes the composition, highlighting calm and privacy.
