Design project of the house

Design project of the house

Creating a house project for me is a completely different kind of pleasure than interior design of an apartment. This is architecture from scratch, when you need to create a mood not only inside, but also outside.

Given:

The landscape of the land, the client’s wishes, the mandatory functionality, and the budget – this is where the real work happens. The constraints end here, and creativity begins. Designing a house is not just about the building itself but also about creating an entire estate – a space for relaxation, children’s play, a pool, entertaining guests, a spa, meetings, and solitude. Perhaps a wine cellar for true connoisseurs, or a treehouse for twins, or a pond with fish for an artist’s inspiration. A house is a place where functionality blends with nature. Your home is your lifestyle.

Moroccan House

“Moroccan House” – a tribute to traditions and breaking the rules.

A few years ago, I returned from Morocco deeply impressed by the local traditions. I was particularly taken by the water feature at the entrance of the house – a symbol of life. Thus, the concept of the Moroccan house was born.

I imagined it could be located in southern latitudes, in a warm country with very large sliding windows.

The basic textures – concrete and glass, and even traditional interior patterns with wood or marble chips – I would reflect this in concrete. A delicate small pattern on a rough material.

Such a house is a home for a creative person: an artist, musician, architect, or designer.

Forest House

A project for misty forested mountains, where one can find peace and be inspired. Perhaps the most attractive feature is the transparent wall through which one can enjoy a breathtaking view. Such a dream: maximum daylight, open space, complete unity with nature.

As a practicing professional, I know that climatic conditions often determine engineering possibilities. Such a transparent project threatens with heat loss. However, technology is advancing – heated glazing units have already been developed, and the industry is now working on combining design with energy efficiency. Such warm windows will become accessible to people with average incomes in the coming years.

Another possible concern is birds that may collide with the glass wall. But our project is not for a high-rise penthouse. The house is partially embedded into the slope, it does not rise above the tree tops and remains part of the earthly landscape.
